My name is David and I am the “aging” owner and author of this website. As I am aging and beginning to experience some of the challenges that I observed in my parents and their friends when I was younger… and now witnessing in my personal friends and acquaintances… I began looking for ways to alleviate or hopefully prevent some of the challenges that seem to be inevitable for many seniors.
MY STORY
I served in the military for 20 years and observed many friends retire with the hopes of spending the rest of their lives doing as little as possible, with the exception of maybe sitting on the shore of a lake fishing! Most of those who changed from a very regimented and active lifestyle to one of doing mostly nothing didn’t last long. Their health declined. Their mobility declined and visits to the doctors increased and some are no longer with us.
Having observed these things I decided that I did NOT want to follow their examples and see my health decline. Following retirement I have continued working ‘physically’ as well as mentally on a daily basis. My High School mentor gave me a book, midway through my military career, that was written by the Nobel Prize Laureate, Linus Pauling. In his book, “How to Live Longer and Feel Better” I gained access to many concepts that I applied and have continued applying to my lifestyle as I am now in my mid-70’s and I am, at this writing, still working 80 hours a week and doing quite well.
My Goal is to Help You Live a Long and Healthy Life
On this website you will find articles that share information I have found useful in remaining healthy over the past years. Hopefully you will find these articles helpful as well. Some of the articles will share links to sources from which I found certain products or services that I utilized in my efforts to boost my wellness. I looked long and hard to find only the very best in all the things I use and recommend.
If you ever need a hand or have ay questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
